Hello lovelies,
It’s wild to reflect upon the evolution of my practice over the last eight years. Most meaningful to me however, is contemplating the entirety of my career: started early at the ripe age of an early 20-something graduate level student, seizing (albeit reluctantly at times) opportunities that are quite rare in our current times. The brilliance, transformations, creativity, connection, play and heartbreaking learning lessons keep a-comin’! Traditionally trained as a clinical social worker and trauma + addiction psychotherapist, I still love individual and group work. Really getting in there. However, over the last five years or so, I’ve been energized by the consultation and supervision aspect of my practice; helping DU students navigate their MSW field practicums; tutoring social workers preparing for their licensure exams; teaching and taking care of myself in ways that weren’t always modeled to me as a young professional. I am going to transform this blog into a collection of these current offerings and want to start by announcing a seasonal special for my ASWB tutoring services. Preparing social workers to step into the clinical world – which has my whole heart – is no small thing. Our field has agreed clinical licensure should be more accessible: the exam was modified just last month to better reflect real-world scenarios, and supervision hours are now reduced to meet the demands of our sociopolitical climate. All hands on deck. Our helpers are ready so let’s GOOOOO!
Check out the deets on tutoring services and until then, sending peace and a deep *exhale* your way.

Studying for the ASWB exam can feel overwhelming—but I’ve got you covered. I provide supportive, one-on-one tutoring to help MSW grads build skills, strengthen strategies, and feel confident on exam day.
Offered privately or through Social Work Test Prep, LLC.
